ABOUT ABRAHAMA

Get to know us!

Abrahama is a nonpartisan, inclusive space for students of Muslim, Jewish, and Middle Eastern descent to challenge intergenerational and systemic biases of “the other” in their communities through creative programs, dialogue, and shared initiatives. Our mission is rooted in the values of human equality, agency, mutual respect, and cooperation.

As a student-led grassroots organization, we are guided by the principle that policy must be predicated on the aforementioned values and that “justice” and “peace” are not sustainable pursuits unilaterally, but are the acts of brave, interdependent, and mindful peoples working together in the region and diasporas alike.

Abrahama was founded at NYU in 2022, in inspiration of the historic Abraham Accords and various peace-building grassroots organizations.
