WHAT MAKES ABRAHAMA'S APPROACH TO
INTERFAITH AND INTER-ETHNIC WORK UNIQUE?
One of the elements that makes Abrahama unique is our constructive, long-term vision for student members. In order to create a more unified and inclusive Middle East and Middle Eastern identity, we look to build on shared Abrahamic values and cultural authenticity, namely through immersion, literacy, and pride as the guiding path for the process of peacemaking.
This means that our events aim to genuinely enrich understandings of our own heritage and others’ as a medium for progress. Intuitive programming, introspection, and an outstretched arm are central to this process and help us reflect on our shared histories and achievements honestly with the conviction to move forward. Not to mention, we're one of the first Muslim-Jewish movements on campus, building leaders for generations to come.

The primary focus of Abrahama is to break ethno-religious stigmas with education and grassroots cooperation as a cultural shift and precursor to ending divisiveness between Middle Eastern communities. However, Abrahama recognizes the pertinence of these humanitarian crises and supports general advocacy efforts. On issues of genocide specifically, such as in East Turkestan (Xinjiang, China), Abrahama is an open ally for various advocacy efforts. We've made and may continue to make various recommendations for reputable humanitarian aid organizations to donate to on our social media, i.e. for Turkey and Syria.
